Transfer to Durres (Durres): one of Albania's

Byzantines, and Ottomans, leaving behind a diverse cultural and architectural

Return to Tirana for overnight stay.
Day 3: Ardenica and Berat
Departure to Ardenica. Located in southern Albania near the
village of Fier, this is one of the country's hidden gems, rich in history,
spirituality, and architectural beauty. Also known as the Monastery of the
Nativity of the Theotokos, it was founded in 1282 by the Byzantine Emperor
Andronicus II Palaiologos. Legend has it that the monastery was built to
commemorate a Byzantine military victory against the Angevins.

Continue to Berat: Also known as the "City of a
